Search in VideoAsk

As the number of videoasks and conversations with contacts in your organization grows, it can start to get tricky keeping track of where things are.

Organizing your videoasks into folders and managing your team's folder permissions certainly helps to keep things tidy, but sometimes a quick search of your account can save you or a team member lots of time! šŸ•°

Keep reading to learn how to search the content and contacts in your organization so you can quickly find exactly what you're looking for.

Click Search in the top left-hand corner of your account (or type CTRL + / or āŒ˜ + / for a handy keyboard shortcut).

Type your search query into the search bar:

Now you'll see the search results broken down into categories with the number of results found for each category:

By default, search results for Contacts will be displayed.

Click View contact to view their details and any conversations you've had with them.

Click Answers to look for something specific that a videoask respondent said or typed (this option searches all the videoask transcripts) in their initial response to your videoask.

Click Messages to look for something specific (that either you or your respondent said) in a videoask conversation or direct message (respondents' initial responses to your videoask will appear under the Answers heading).

Click View conversation to go to the videoask conversation or direct message where the transcript came from.

Click Videoasks to filter for a particular videoask.

Click Open videoask from the search results to be taken directly to that videoask.
